A few years ago I created the Swarm Bot as a commission. The model performed well for its intended use as a display piece at Trade Shows, however I personally wasn't as satisfied as I could have been. The joints were flimsy and the design itself was not accurate to the original design specs. Returning to the design years later, i used the skills i have learned through my studies, hobbies and trials to improve the design, adhereing more accurately to the original specs, as well as improving the joints to be more robust.
Once 3D printed using a combination of PLA and transparent resin, this version slotted together without the use of glue. This version also features room for LED lights powered by a D battery pack inside.
