Returning to the Starblade series, while I was extremely satisfied with version 2s design. Restrictions in printing made it very difficult to 3D print. Currently, I only have access to a Resin Printer so I was limited by my build size. To match the size of a Smart Doll, it had to be printed in parts, which ultimated warped and didn't join together nicely.
I decided to head back once again and create a new weapon, this time with less of a star/cosmic theme and more of a fantasy theme. Ultimately I think this was unique in its design. It was created in Autodesk Fusion360 so that the measurements and joints lined up and it could be printed in parts, with the hilt and the blade being seperate.
While I did do a quick print of the blade, the shape of the weapon made it difficult for the printer to define accurately, so i ulimately canceled the print and will attempt in in the future with an FDM printer.
