After finally watching the recent Code Geass Movie, I was inspired to sit down and model one of the coolest mechas around, the Lancelot Albion.
Using reference images, this was one of my most challenging pieces so far. There was a decent amount of detail in the shape of the helmet that made it difficult to model.
I can't help but think that this may have been easier to sculpt than hard surface model. I am happy with how it turned out in the end.
