After sculpting Gwen’s weapon, I decided to try out sculpting Gwen herself. Gwen is the newest champion in League of Legends. The design documents provided by Riot blog posts inspired me to model her. They were used as a reference for her clothing and to sculpt the pose. Her overall design is gives off a very Victorian-esque style. I enjoyed modelling the little details on her dress. Being a big fan of figures and figurines growing up, I have always wanted to make my own so this model is a big milestone for me. It was a lot of fun sculpting her.
Overall sculpting time was between 40 to 50 hours.
The biggest challenge of this model was the hair.
While I would love to be able to 3D print this model, it may prove difficult due to the complexity and how the model would be weighted. It was not designed to be printed, however a goal in the near future is to create an equality complex model that can be 3D printed in parts and displayed.
